We are pleased to invite you to an exceptional two-day workshop with German artist Claudia Drexhage, known for her expressive, semi-abstract landscapes, as well as her remarkable social media presence.
Claudia is a member of the German Watercolor Society and regularly participates in local and international exhibitions. With over 120,000 followers on Instagram, she shares her work and the creative process through immersive videos. Her first book, Aquarell Landscapes, was published in March 2024.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced artists alike; children ages 12 and up are welcome. During this workshop, you will explore the world of semi-abstract landscape painting—fluid, vibrant, and open to the unexpected. Using free watercolor and ink techniques, you will learn to work with color and water on different papers, experiment with textured effects using grainy mediums, and allow nature-inspired forms to emerge.
This workshop is also an invitation to change your approach: painting becomes a way to let go, observe, and trust the creative process.
Claudia will guide you with clear explanations of composition, color, materials, and workflow, while offering personalized support.
Dates: September 20 + 21, 2025
Time: 2 pm to 6 pm (8 hours total, over 2 days)
Location: Artiloft (Craft Factory, 4th floor), Albulastrasse 24, 8048 Zurich
Price: CHF 360 per participant, all materials provided
Languages: German and English
